Dr Graham’s cultural heritage informs her lifelong commitment to community, education, and advocacy across South-East Queensland and beyond.

Over 30 Years in Government, Academia & Community Work

Dr Graham has served in key roles across government and Aboriginal organisations, including as Queensland Corrective Services Commissioner in 1992.

Respected Educator in Aboriginal Knowledge and Philosophy

A long-time lecturer at the University of Queensland, Dr Graham co-developed and taught influential courses like Aboriginal Perspectives and Aboriginal Politics.
Prolific Writer and Knowledge Sharer

She has published widely, contributing to the Aboriginal Encyclopaedia, cross-cultural training modules, and numerous academic papers on First Nations issues.

Nationally Recognised for Lifelong Contributions
Dr Graham is an Ethics Council member for the National Congress and a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from QUT for her dedication to scholarship and community empowerment.
